There is no doubt that Valentine’s Day is one of the most romantic days of the year, as couples celebrate it a lot. There’s nothing like the perfect hairstyle to spice up your look.

It is well known that a good set of hair can make or break the look. To make sure your hair looks its best and complements your look well, Shahnaz Hussain gave us an insight into how to rock today’s best hairstyles that don’t take long. That’s all she revealed to us!

The classic ponytail is the one that sets the trend. Fits most face shapes. You can wear a high or low ponytail, with or without bangs. You can even let down strands or curls with this “carefully sloppy” look. The ponytail is actually an easy hairstyle. With ribbons, clips, or other hair accessories, you can add a touch of sparkle. One can have a ponytail for a formal or casual look. For a long face, wear a low ponytail and a long, light fringe that falls down. For an oval face, wear it with side bangs. For a square-jawed face, let strands of long curls fall on each side of the face, away from jaw level.

Long hair is very fashionable, with cascading waves or curly hair full of vitality. Go for the softer look, with natural curls or waves, in the lower half of your hair.

You can also try braids. In fact, hair can also be braided in many ways using hair accessories. Long hair can be braided and then pinned. Or leave the braid aside, with small curls framing the face. Make several braids into a ponytail with ribbons, or make a ponytail, leaving a section hair-free. Braid the free part and wrap it around the ponytail, as if the braid is holding the ponytail.

Since the updo, which was all the rage in the 1960s, is back, half of your hair can be worn up and the rest down. In fact, the bouffant can be used to add height to a round face. The rest of the hair can fall smoothly, framing the face.

For curly hair, you can have a side-parted hairstyle. What you need are some bobby pins to secure the hair when you apply it. Comb the top of the hair and secure it however you like. Then take the hair and set it aside. set it so it’s on that side. Then section the hair and begin laying it loose, one section at a time, securing each section of the curls. Secure it in such a way that the braids fall loose. Keep doing this until you reach all the hair. Spray with medium hair spray. You can tackle a flower on the side if you like.

The hairstyle can make you look sophisticated, elegant, or glamorous. The style is appropriate for a festive occasion. With traditional Indian attire, the jasmine wreath can be wrapped around a braid or pinned to the side.

The short wavy style suits most hair textures, including, wavy hair. You can cut your hair long, parted in the middle, and waves on both sides. It can give you a “carefully sloppy” look.

 If your hair is shoulder length and naturally wavy, use a blow dryer to dry the top of your hair,  making it straighter, but let the rest of your hair dry naturally and look naturally wavy. Loose waves will look better.
