1. Practicing stress management is the need of the hour

Various studies have decoded the link between stress and the possibility of getting pregnant. Many women fall prey to unhealthy habits such as smoking, excessive alcohol or caffeine consumption to overcome the stress they experience in their personal or professional life. This, in turn, can affect their fertility and can make conception difficult.

Therefore, stress management can help them calm down and increase their fertility. You can opt for tips for dealing with stress or developing a positive habit of talking to each other. Meditating, spending time with loved ones, spending time on recreational activities, and eliminating the things that lead to stress can help you.

2. Maintain an optimal weight

Weight plays a huge role in fertility. According to research, being overweight or underweight can affect your chances of conceiving. Underweight and overweight women can have hormonal imbalances and ovulation difficulties. They may also face an increased risk of pregnancy complications. Therefore, you should ideally maintain a healthy weight so that your BMI (body mass index) is within the normal range (18.5 to 24.9).

3. Keep moving

Can’t take time out of your irregular schedule and train every day? Then you get it all wrong. Exercise will not only improve your overall well-being, but your chances of conception as well. Active women are more fertile than women who lead sedentary lives. Exercise releases endorphins, chemicals that improve your mood and reduce stress levels.

Exercise also has an anti-inflammatory effect on the body. The best thing you can do to increase your fertility is to exercise at least five days a week for at least half an hour a day. Activities like brisk walking, jogging, running, yoga, swimming, pilates, aerobics, and strength / functional training are all great options. Choose the one you like best. Some may need to be performed under the direction of a fitness instructor.

4. Choose a balanced diet

Indulge in bad eating habits? Some people tend to overeat or binge on high calorie foods when under stress. In turn, they gain more weight and become more stressed. While foods high in sugar or carbohydrates can make you feel good at this particular time, they can act as sedatives in the long run. If you find yourself looking for that bag of chips or box of chocolates more often than you should, then it’s time to rethink your diet.

It would be best to try incorporating fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts, whole grains, seeds, legumes, and legumes into your diet. Make sure you are getting all the essential nutrients from what you eat. Avoid processed, redefined, canned, sweet and savory foods, excessive alcohol, smoking, and excessive caffeine. These things can hinder your ovulation process and your overall health, both mental and physical.

5. Sleep well

Many studies have shown that sleep plays a vital role in fertility. Lack of sleep will lead to stress and poor food choices. Try to sleep well at least 8 hours a day to increase your chances of conception. Also, the benefits of good sleep are greater when you sleep early and wake up early, as opposed to sleeping late and waking up late, even if you have 8 hours. The melatonin cycle not only affects your weight and health, but your fertility as well. There’s a reason it’s called “Beauty Sleep”.
