An Apple a Day: 3 DIY Masks For Glowing Skin Face

Our skin is in great shape, especially now that we’re mostly indoors and there aren’t so many pollutants to harm our skin, plus we all eat home-cooked food and rarely order. So, in general, the skin is fine. But that shine is missing! Of course, we’ve been told how many times we should take a digital break, stay away from screens, sleep well, eat well, and more. But realistically, do we do any of these things? Mostly not.

But fear not. Here are 3 apple DIY masks for glowing skin that will help you to get that glow back, but before you do, here’s why you should eat more apples too!

An apple a day… blah blah. In addition to keeping the doctor away, it also does wonders for your skin. Apples contain a lot of moisture and are also rich in vitamin C and other antioxidants. It also increases collagen production in the skin, making it smooth and supple. It is a stringy fruit that keeps your system running smoothly. Apples have anti-inflammatory properties that can soothe sensitive skin. It can also help fade pigmentation over time and heal dehydrated skin.

The First Recipe: For an Uneven Skin Tone

what do you need:

1 tablespoon applesauce

2 teaspoons yogurt (you can add more to manage consistency)

1 teaspoon fresh orange or lemon juice

In a bowl, whisk together the apple puree and yogurt until well combined. Then add lemon or orange juice and mix well. Apply the mask on a clean face and leave it for 20 minutes. The yogurt contains lactic acid that gently exfoliates the skin, and the juice is an added vitamin C boost that boosts radiance.

The Second Rcipe: To Soothe Sensitive Skin

what do you need:

1 tablespoon applesauce

3 teaspoons oatmeal, rolled oats, or ground oats

1 tablespoon warm milk

Mix all ingredients in a bowl until well blended. Make sure there should not be many lumps and if you feel the mask is too thick you can add more milk and if it is too runny add more oatmeal. It should have a dough consistency. After cleansing, apply a thick layer of this mask (as thick as possible) to your face. Leave it for 15 minutes and then rinse. If your skin gets red and irritated easily, this soothing mask will be your savior.

The Third Recipe – Is to Remove Pigmentation and Intensive Moisturizing

what do you need:

1 tablespoon applesauce

1 tablespoon of cooked rice – puree

2 teaspoons jojoba oil or virgin coconut oil

Crush the rice well so there are no lumps, then add the other ingredients and mix everything well. Apply the mask on your face and leave it for 20 minutes. If the mask starts to dry out, meaning your skin is absorbing it, apply another layer. An ancient Asian beauty secret. The rice keeps the skin supple, soft, and youthful while the oil penetrates the deeper layers of the skin to provide hydration.
