Since we’re staying indoors all the time because of the lockdown, our pores do not get clogged because of all the dirt and pollution in the air or get affected by the UV radiation so now it can finally be made healthier. 

Another plus side of staying home is that you can stop using makeup for a while and instead focus more on skincare. There are so many things you can do to take care of your health. Make sure you keep your skin moisturized as much as you can. Drink lots and lots of water to avoid dehydration.

You should be following a basic CTM routine which includes the steps of Cleanser, Toner and then Moisturiser. It is the perfect opportunity to heal and repair your skin. The best way to give your skin some much-needed nourishment is to prepare a face pack using power ingredients that are easily available in your home. 

Some face packs that will give you a clear and glowing skin: 

Before applying any face pack on your face, make sure that you first, wash your hands properly and then your face.

1. Face Packs For Crystal Clear Skin

To make this face pack, You need three ingredients that you can easily find in your kitchen. These ingredients include papaya, turmeric powder and rose water.

Papaya will help clear your skin and remove all the blemishes and pigmentation. Turmeric will soothe your skin from several conditions such as rosacea and eczema and helps prevents the acne. The third ingredient, Rosewater helps in balancing the pH levels of the skin. It contains anti-inflammatory properties that help in reducing redness.

Follow the given steps to prepare the face mask: 

Step 1: Take a bowl and add a spoonful of papaya pulp, turmeric and rose water to it.

Step 2: Mix all the ingredients properly until you achieve a thick paste. 

Step 3: Use a brush to apply this paste on your face. Make sure you apply this mask on your neck as well.

Step 4: Leave it on for about 10 minutes and wash off using lukewarm water.

Step 5: Pat your skin dry and don’t forget to apply a moisturizer.  

Apply this face pack twice a week to see the best results.

2. Face Packs For Bright and Glowing Skin

This is the best face pack to get rid of dull and tired-looking skin. To make this face pack, you need these ingredients including oatmeal, rose water, sweet almond oil, and rose petals. White oatmeal absorbs the excess oil, almond oil reverses any sun damage and improves the complexion of the skin and reduces the dark circles as well. Crushed rose petals are rich in natural oils that help give a glowing, dewy skin. 

Follow the given steps to prepare the face mask: 

Step 1: Take a bowl and add 2 tablespoons of oatmeal, 2 tablespoons of rose water, 3-4 drops of almond oil, and a half teaspoon of turmeric to it.

Step 2: Mix it properly and apply it on damp skin. Massage it on your face in circular motions using your fingertips.

Step 3: Continue to do this for about 5 minutes and wash it with lukewarm water. 

Step 4: Moisturise well.

Apply this face pack once a week to see the best results.

 3. Face Packs for Baby Soft Skin

This face mask is made using three ingredients including honey, oatmeal and bananas. This is definitely a wonderful mask if your skin feels a little rough and dry. Honey basically helps to lock in the moisture, oatmeal removes blackheads and whiteheads. While bananas play a role in smoothening and rejuvenating the skin. 

Follow the given steps to prepare the face mask: 

Step 1: Cut a banana into pieces and mash it using the back of your spoon and make a paste.

Step 2: Drizzle 1 tablespoon of honey on it and add half a cup of oatmeal as well.

Step 3: Now, mix all the ingredients well and apply it to your face and neck. Wash it off after about 15 minutes. 

Step 4: Pat dry and don’t forget to apply a moisturizer. 

Apply this face pack once a week to see the best results.
