Pregnancy is the most crucial phase of women’s life where she experiences different phases from conceiving to delivering the child. During this phase, women should take a check on their eating and drinking habits as their routine and habits affect the offspring tremendously. Women who drink alcohol and take cigarettes or drugs should strictly replace their drinking habits with fresh juice.

You can also start off with the brisk walking for 20-30 minutes. Always do the exercise or walking as per the comfort and do not put too much energy or pressure onto it. Prenatal Vitamins: Even when you start trying to conceive it is good to take vitamins, minerals. When you conceive and your baby grows his neural cord, which becomes the brain and spinal cord, develops within the first month of pregnancy, so it is important you get essential nutrients like Calcium, folic acid, Zinc. they are easily available at the drug store. And before consuming it is always important to consult a Gynecologist.

Practice Kegel: It helps you to strengthen your pelvic floor muscles, which support your bowel, bladder, and uterus. If done correctly and continuously it will help you make your delivery easier and prevent problems later with incontinence.


Check Your Weight Gain: You should know that during pregnancy you are eating for two, but choosing wisely is quite important rather than eating anything during this period. The weight should be increased so that the child will be born with a healthy body but tracking down the weight gain should always be something to do on time intervals. Recently the Institute of Medicine has issued new guidelines for weight gain during pregnancy. Based on that the pregnant women with one baby:
Underweight- Gain 28-40 Pounds
Normal weight- Gain 25-35 Pounds
Overweight- Gain 15-25 Pounds
Obese- 11-20 Pounds
