MET GALA 2020 is officially canceled because of CORONA-VIRUS

Washington DC, rolling the red carpet, 2020 Met Gala will not be held.

According to page six, the Metropolitan Museum of Art revealed  that the corona-virus pandemic had canceled the annual Met Gala 2020 fashion event “due to the global health crisis.”

The “Time Time: Fashion and Period” exhibition, which would have determined the theme of the 2020 party, will open on October 29 and will run until February 7, 2021. The Costume Institute Gala is preparing to reopen in mid-August, but all talks, workshops, concerts and activities have been canceled until the end of the year.

A spokeswoman for Met WWD (Everyday Women’s Wear) has told that the 2021 gala will focus on next year’s Fashion Institute show, which has yet to be revealed.

When it was first revealed that Met Ball was not holding in regular history, hungry fashion lovers took to the action, recreating classic themes from the past Met Galas at home. Celebrities like Mindy Kaling and Adam Rippon also enjoyed, even Katy Perry shared a glimpse of the rugged little girl’s outlook she planned for the big night.
