On Wednesday, actor Sonu Sood received a vaccine to prevent Covid-19 at a hospital in Amritsar, Punjab. The actor also launched “Sanjeevani: Shot of Life,” an initiative to encourage people to get vaccinated and raise awareness.
Speaking of the same, Sonu Sood said: “I wanted to start this drive because I think it is very important to spread this awareness among people who are still thinking about whether or not they should get vaccinated. Family members should pay the elderly and eligible people for vaccination. It will only help them survive the times we face in the near future.
“We are doing this in many areas and many villages in Punjab and in different states. The awareness is not so much and they still have double ideas about whether they should get vaccinated or not.
