There are three main steps for it:
- Cleansing- which requires a thorough cleaning of the face
- Toning- helps in balancing the skin

How to Use Toner-
For many years, we are thinking that the toner means that it is stinging astringents from the ’80s. But actually it is an alcohol-based product that was used to dry up the oily-skin and remove any skin dirt which is leftover the skin following cleansing. It can be thought of as a supplement- these thin liquid deliver an extra shot of nutrients, helping the other products in your regime absorb better, while it helps in balancing the user complexion. Some dermatologists also say that it can be considered as optional, “it is a very good way to add in specific ingredients that you may not have in your other products or add another layer of skin- replenishment.”
Tip: “Apply toner with clean hands is the most efficient and basic step to be considered. Just pour a few drops in your palm of your hand and then apply it.” Or if you prefer, you can also use a cotton pad/ cotton ball “so it’s not so thick before putting toner on it,” Mattioli advises. Most formulas can be used morning and night, but you might want to use those with exfoliating acids only at night or every other day.
Serums are powerful skin allies. They are filled with concentrated doses of active ingredients, these elixirs can mitigate a number of issues, from dark spots to wrinkles. Even if someone doesn’t have any specific issue in the skin, still people need antioxidant serum in the morning to protect from daily aggressors. According to the skin type, one can choose different types and kinds of serums such as Vitamin C, also see if it contains hyaluronic acid.
The most basic function of moisture is to hydrate and soften the skin. “Essentially, it moisturizes and assists in preventing water loss through the outer layer of the skin and makes it look fresh.
