Moves You Should Try ASAP

“Face yoga works the epidermis, or bottom layer of skin (muscle and fat tissue), the dermis, or middle layer (connective tissue), and the epidermis, or top layer (cells), says Shorewal. So, we are sharing three easy moves through which we can perform comfortably.

We’ll start with the forehead, focusing on the horizontal lines and wrinkles. Place your fingers in the center of your forehead and sweep outward in horizontal lines, repeating three times. This relaxes the anterior muscle and releases tension that can cause deep frown lines if left unresolved.

Then move to the eye area and focus on reducing puffiness, dark circles, and fine lines, as well as stimulating blood circulation. Using your index fingers, wipe directly under your eyes from the nose outward. Repeat it four times. The skin should never be pulled. This movement relaxes the circular eye muscle.

Next, we’ll work on the cheeks, addressing sagging, loss of volume, dull skin, and nasal folds. Puff up your cheeks, as if you had a mouth full of water, and close your lips. Begin to inhale and exhale deeply through your nose. Then transfer the air from cheek to cheek. This can last up to 30 seconds and, if comfortable, can last up to a minute. This works the bicep muscle.
